Got this from a friend on Face Book and I tried it a couple times. Is really easy and gosh the true flavor of the corn is so much better.
Leave the husks on the corn
In the microwave cook for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes. Remove from microwave using a pot holder or towel. Place on cutting board and cut the bottom stem end off about 1/4 inch up. Turn cob upside down and shake/squeeze out of husk.
If you microwave more than one ear, increase the cooking time by 4 minutes for each additional cob.
I don't think I will ever go back to fixing it on top of the stove in water.

Sounds good Judy and Laurie wants to know if you remove the silk then wrap the husks back on?

Don't remove anything Bob. Just put the entire cob, silk, husk and all into the microwave on high setting. When it is finished and you remove it from the microwave just cut about 2 rows of the corn off the stem end, and then just tip it upside down and give it a shake or two, and it slides out all nice and clean. If you cook more than one cob just increase the time by 4 minutes for each additional cob.
