Hi aRMY83, That's how I was with Vista, kept it a day or two and got rid of it, went back to XP. Goodness I miss XP. Then when I got a new computer it had Vista, and 1st thing I did was add in a 2nd HDD for XP so I could boot to either one. But honestly so far I really like 10 I for one loved XP and never that I can remember, had any issues with it. As for changes, never did and never will like changes but one has to ride with the time of changes I suppose. I have had it now since it come out and love it. We have downloaded Classic Shell which gets rid of all the tiles which a lot of people don't like including myself and down loaded Classic shell which gives you the start menu like windows 7 Take a look HereThanks once again T.T. for the input and link and just downloaded the Classic Shell just in case I/we decide to install the Win 10.

I should know this but after exporting my favorites from IE10 to Microsoft Edge it left me with this in the favorites bar: ( in red ) I've tried everything under the sun and can not remove it. Any suggestion from anyone is greatly appreciated. EDIT: 8/22/2015 Uninstall Windows 10 and then did a complete edit of IE 11 (Favorites) and removed that issue and then reinstalled Windows 10 and imported (Favorites) from IE11... Time consuming but it worked like a charm.

I likewise use Firefox but sorta go back and forth with Microsoft Edge. No doubt there is some bugs and hope their updates solve those. It's a great browser (MS Edge) and extremely fast and far better than IE IMO.
Thanks for the heads up and surely enjoy the guest visits.

I finally downloaded and installed Classic Shell and I love it. Looks like Win 7 and is customizable. A few settings can even be made to look like XP. And I like the Start Button option, having Classic or your own custom button

A great site for how to get your privacy back under Windows 10. Seems almost everything you do in Win 10 is sent to Microsoft without your permission, who then forward it on to advertising companies! fix10.isleaked.com/

Thanks SkyFire for that link, I like that. Another neat feature I like is after you install Classic Shell is you can choose the 'Start' Button you want or install your own custom 'Start' button if you like

With the Classic Shell it might be worth going to Win 10, as long as I can still have Apache, Php and Mysql running on it. Nothing will happen until after the holiday though and very probaly on new hardware, (a new mainboard at the very least).

Sad to say but had to go back to Win 7 and I'll explain the reason why. Right around 2 - 3 weeks ago I had some issues with Win 10 and decided to roll back to Win 7 which by the way, everything went quite smooth. Then a few days later I decided to go back to Win 10 which I went through the process of the installation and everything went smooth with that process. Now to the BIG issue at hand.... I still was not satisfied with Win 10 and once again, went through the process of rolling back to Win 7 and that for whatever reason, was a NO NO as Win 7 was so corrupted and lost the ability to use the system restore to try and restore to an earlier date / time. There was no restore point listed and I mean none! I spent almost two days trying to figure out what to do and then decided to do a full recovery of Win 7, I'm sure everyone has gone through that process, which went smooth. It took forever getting ALL the updates (195 total) from MS which took hours and finally got them downloaded and installed. To make a long story short... finally got Win 7 back up and running the way it was and everything working just fine. This link has nothing to do with what I went through above but thought for those that have not seen this, you may want to take a peak: Windows 10 Pros and Cons FYI: (shown on page from above link) Windows 10 will be free for the first year to all Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Phone 8.1 users. This means, as long you upgrade within the first 12 months (July 29th 2015 to July 29th 2016), you will not have to pay for Windows 10 at all.

The link SkyFire gave us for fix10.isleaked is now a dead link. I managed to look at a cached version this morning, even it is messed up now. It really wasn't anything to download, but was more or less how to close some of the privacy holes in Windows 10, they were user decided options. I have the list and directions of what to turn off, if any body is interested drop me a PM and I'll send the link. Since I installed Classic Shell and going thru the settings and still finding new ones, I really like Windows 10
