Hubby is Beta testing it too. He loves it. Good that those of us who have a genuine copy get it free. It will be their last one and in future will be doing updates apparently. Coming out in fall. I am looking forward to it.

Have W10 installed seems to be good. Haven't gone though it all as yet but so far no problems.

Thanks Allan for the information and I decided not to install it on my and the Mrs computer right now and will see what goes with it in the next few weeks or so.
When you have the time, keep us updated on the likes / dislikes of it.

Hubby and I both have it now and no problems. A smooth change over. To me certainly better than windows 8.1. I still use Firefox though.

I got my Windows 10 last Sunday and installed on my laptop replacing Windows 7. My laptop has an I3 CPU with 8 GB's ram. The install went smoothly. It saved all my old settings, preferences, and files. I'm really impressed so far and I like it. It seems like they took the best of XP. W7, W8.1 and combined them all and added new features. Had a couple of hiccups, but nothing major. IE11 is there for those that need or want it. FF & Chrome both work good. The new browser Edge (what I'm currently using) has a few glitches but I'm sure they will get them worked out

Hi aRMY83, That's how I was with Vista, kept it a day or two and got rid of it, went back to XP. Goodness I miss XP. Then when I got a new computer it had Vista, and 1st thing I did was add in a 2nd HDD for XP so I could boot to either one. But honestly so far I really like 10
