Ever found that for some odd reason, your desktop icons (url's) now opens in a smaller window and you can't figure out why! Well this has happen several times for us, and could not figure out what to do, until I came accross this:
Internet Explorer remembers how the browser was closed and opens the same way. For instance, if you close IE "Restored Down" to a smaller window, it will open the next time Restored Down to the smaller window.
To get your desktop icons (url's) to open at full screen, open a webpage. Stretch it out to fullsize. Don't use maximize. Choose any link on that webpage and right-click, it will then open in a new window. Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize. Close the first IE window. Then close that second resized window.

This works with other things too, Ron, like your email, gmail, My Documents, etc. Sometimes our computers need to quit doing so much thinking for us.
