Well I also had enough of the Language Bar showing in the task bar, and found this tip, which by the way, is so simple to remove or restore, if needed! From the Authors: How to: Remove/Restore Language Bar One of the most annoying features in Windows XP is the Language bar. You usually see it after you do a fresh install on a computer. It’s annoying because most users don’t use it or need it but it uses up space in the task bar. Also, it was easy to temporarily disable it but most users don’t know how to permanently remove or disable it. Before I show you how to permanently get rid of the Language bar, here’s a little information on what it is and what it’s for. Windows Language Bar

What the heck is this, Ron? I don't think I have a language bar. But if you come a cross a tiny app for a translator, I'd sure like to have it. I don't like the Google toolbar, but I do use their translator now and then. It's a nuisance, but a lot of the graphic sites I go too are foreign.

Ah, ok, thanks, Ron, I have never seen that bar.
It does remind me of a funny story from some years ago. One of my members was freaking out because she was typing in a foreign language and didn't know how to get it back to English. I'm betting she hit that thing by mistake. I knew it was possible to change the language of our keyboards, just never had the need to do so.
I didn't even download all the language packs that came with this computer, there were 35 in all. I just hid them so I don't have to see them screaming at me wanting to be allowed to come out and play.
