Was looking for a HHD Backup / Restore image program online and came across (link below) Macrium Software. There is no doubt, IMO, that this is indeed one great backup / restore software program for the Windows application. Also, to add, it offers cloning of HHD / SSD drives and so much more. Had to resort to reading their guide (link below) to fully understand the many features offered and there are many. Note: For my backups, I use a External Seagate Expansion 2TB SuperSpeed USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop Hard Drive STEB2000100 which I just purchased some time ago: (got tired doing System Image backups with DVD's) From the Authors: About Macrium Software - Our Story
